Data's my jam, but I'm not just about crunching numbers.
I'm a Data Analytics & Automation Specialist with a passion for turning insights into action.
Why automation? Because let's face it, data is great, but putting it to work is even better.
I started as a Junior Data Analyst, and quickly saw how automation could streamline processes and
free up time for the good stuff.
This dashboard dives into a massive dataset of over 250,000 Airbnb listings across 10 popular travel destinations,
revealing valuable insights into vacation rental trends. The data spans from 2014 to the present, offering a comprehensive picture
of visitor behavior and rental characteristics.
Key findings include a pre-pandemic boom in visitor numbers, with a significant drop in early 2020 due to COVID-19. Interestingly, Cape Town boasts Airbnbs with the highest average scores for value, cleanliness, and communication. Paris and Rome stand out as top destinations, attracting the most visitors. The analysis also reveals that "entire place" listings dominate the market, accounting for over half of all rentals with an average price of $116 per night. Additionally, Paris has secured the top spot in Airbnb market share, capturing a significant 28%.
